Who We Are


Alan McColman


Alan grew up in Edmonton and developed a strong work ethic at very young age, he started buying and selling cars at the age of 14 in between helping his father (Gerald) with any projects he needed.


The company was incorporated in 1979 by his father (Gerald) when Alan was 18 years old, starting as a labourer he built his way up with the company, building great success through his extensive knowledge in client relationships.


He continues to bring his knowledge and expertise to the company, even while being semi- retired enjoying life in warmer climates!

Brody Hoff

Project Manager/Estimator

Brody started with the company in 2002 as a Labourer and promoted to Foreman in 2004.  


Brody enrolled in the 2-year Construction Engineering Technology program at NAIT in 2005.
Post graduation of 2007, Brody began work in the office as an Estimator/Project Manager.


Brody possesses both hazardous material abatement and demolition experience in executing a project from start to end.  


Shirley Mah

Office Manager

Shirley started at the company in 2012 and is a great asset to our team.


Prior to joining our family she had 10 years in construction management and over 20 years of accounting experience due to her CGA education.


She has been able to introduce innovative procedures and project cost monitoring applications to ensure the financial well being of the company.


When she says she is "married to the business'" she is not kidding......

Kayla McColman

Health & Safety Coordinator

Kayla started with the company in April 2010 as an Office Assistant.


She discovered a passion for Health & Safety 


Kayla enrolled in the HSA/NCSO program in 2013 and continued her education in the OH&S Certificate program at the U of A in 2017.

Not only is she the Company's Safety Coordinator her other roles include Logistics, HR, Accounting Assistant, Alan's PR, and not afraid to attack any task when asked.
