Junior Estimator/Project Manager

Responsibilities and duties may include:

  • Attend required site visits

  • Estimate demolition and abatement projects - at least 3 years experience

  • Be able to read and understand blue prints, job specifications and hazardous material analytical reports.

  • Develop processes for completing work

  • Work in conjunction with project Engineer(s) and Consultant(s)

  • Develop and manage project budget, schedules, contracts etc.

  • Manage requirements throughout the duration of the project in conjunction with the Site Superintendents and Operations Manager.

  • Monitor projects from start to finish

  • Identify client requirements

  • Communicate project risks effectively with all involved

  • Ensure project is executed within the scope / budget determined

  • Create / ensure safety and quality control on every project in line with corporate standards

  • Prepare contracts, negotiate changes (change orders)

  • New and repeat business - client management and business development

  • Work closely / regular communication with Field Operations, Estimators and Administration

  • Complete site inspections to ensure contract / schedule compliance

  • Documents for new Project (Bonding, Insurance Certificates, NOP)

  • Other duties may be required as well.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demolition and abatement experience would be an asset.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00-$84,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Heavy Duty Mechanic  - Journeyman

Experience with off-road and/or on-road demolition equipment & diesel HD trucks and trailers - at least 3 years. MUST HAVE OFF-ROAD experience!

 

Work will involve repairs and maintenance of excavators, hammers, loaders, diesel trucks, dump trailers, lowboys with booster and jeeps, etc.

 

Candidates must have own CSA approved safety work boots and their own basic tools.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Journeyman Mechanic Certificate in Alberta

 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $37.00-$60.00 per hour
