Our Company

McColman & Sons Demolition Ltd is one of the industry's most experienced contractors, having been involved in construction, demolition, and recycling for over 40 years!  

 

Founded and incorporated in 1979 by Gerald McColman and his sons, the company remains family owned and operated, with two generations of McColman's working in the business.

 

Over the last 40 years, we have demolished hundreds of structures, ranging from residential houses to multi level structures to full industrial plants.

Donations to Local Community Organizations

Throughout the past 10 years, MSDL has and still supports Stollery Hospital by the way of donations through advertising in their magazine in Alberta, as well as the Elks Recreation Children's Camp Society of BC for special needs children.

In the area of Health, Safety and Environment, our performance objective is to be a recognized leader in the field of dismantling, demolition, remediation and process equipment sales.  We sincerely believe that all accidents can be prevented and that unacceptable health and environmental impacts can be avoided.

It is our policy that each person has the responsibility and accountability for preventing accidents.  We expect managers and other supervisory personnel to accept, fully, their responsibility for contributing to this objective by exhibiting appropriate emphasis in these respective areas; establishing and maintaining a committed organization; providing continuous training for employees; providing and enforcing good work procedures, providing and maintaining equipment that is safe to use; performing on-going audits of the activities under their control; responding to employee suggestions and concerns in a timely manner; and ensuring sufficient “Follow-Through” on any  agreed upon corrective action(s), so that safety will first and foremost remain as our number one priority.
